Cell Phone Policy

At Ziegler Elementary we realize that some students may need to bring a cell phone to school.

However, we ask that you please remind your student of the importance of focusing on school while they are in class.  No student is allowed to utilize their phone during the school day, including lunch and recess.  If a student needs to call home or has an emergency, they should use the phone in the main office.

• 1st Offense: Staff confiscates the device and returns it to the student at end of day
• 2nd Offense: Staff confiscates the device and the parent/guardian must retrieve it from the office.
• 3rd Offense: Staff confiscates the device and a parent/guardian conference is held to determine the next
  steps.
